The Combat System
Space battles are resolved in rounds. In each round, every ship and defensive structure fires their weapons at a randomly selected enemy target.
Attack vs. Shield
When a ship fires, its Attack value is compared to the target's Shield. If the attack does not exceed 1% of the shield capacity, the weapon bounces off harmlessly. If it breaks the shield, the remaining damage reduces the target's Armor (Hull). If a ship's armor reaches 0, it explodes.
Rapidfire
Certain ships are heavily optimized to hunt specific targets. This mechanic is called Rapidfire. If a ship triggers its Rapidfire, it can shoot again in the same round. For example, if a Cruiser has Rapidfire against Light Fighters (Value: 6), it has a high chance to fire up to 6 consecutive shots against Light Fighters before its turn ends! Always check the Rapidfire stats of your fleet compositions.
Debris Fields
When ships are destroyed, a percentage of their metal and crystal construction costs remains floating in space as a Debris Field. You can send Recyclers to harvest this debris.
